The Tomorrow Project, LLC. (“The Tomorrow Project”, “we”, “us” or “our”) takes steps to ensure it meets applicable privacy law requirements with respect to personal information collected by us at our website located at URL: www.pivotcon.com (“our website”) and at our conferences, shows, exhibitions, and other activities. The purpose of this Privacy Statement is to inform our attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, clients, research subjects, and users of our website (“you” or “your”) how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information that you provide to us. This Privacy Statement applies to our collection, use and disclosure of personal information in United States. This Privacy Statement does not apply to information about our employees or to information that is not personal information.
The Tomorrow Project and its agents and representatives collect and uses personal information in a number of circumstances through our website and in person in the course of managing, administering and promoting our conferences and other business activities. Personal information is collected and used as follows:
Online Registration. On our website, you can register and create an account in order to register as a speaker, sponsor, exhibitor or attendee and provide other business, employment and/or contact information such as your company position or title, company name, industry, expertise and business contact information such as telephone number, fax number, e-mail address. This information is used to facilitate and manage your website profile, and is otherwise used and disclosed as described below in the “Disclosure of Your Personal Information” section. We will also collect your password and login name and an additional security identification question (such as city of birth or mother’s maiden name), which is used to maintain security of our website and control access to your online profile.
We may use the personal information that you provide, including your address, e-mail address, telephone and/or fax number to send you periodic information about, and invitations to, future conferences or events. We may also periodically send you our electronic or other newsletters, or other information that we feel may be of interest to you. You can always “opt out” of receiving the above periodic information and materials by selecting that option when you provide your personal information or following the opt out instructions on the communications provided or contacting us as described below. We may also share your personal information with our customers and sponsors. We will also use the personal information that you provide for the purpose of establishing and maintaining our customer relationship with you and understanding your role within your organization.
Purchases. Where individual or group tickets are purchased or obtained through The Tomorrow Project, we require certain personal information such as your name and business contact information and (if applicable) transaction information such as credit card number. This information is used for registration purposes and processing your transaction. We will also use this personal information to administer your request to participate as a sponsor (“Sponsor”) or as an attendee of a specific show, permit our show staff to communicate with you regarding your participation in the specific show and provide customer services to you (for example, ordering marketing material).
In person. We may also collect the personal information described above from you in person at our conferences, shows and exhibitions or by our sales staff through direct sales efforts. We may use this personal information for the same purposes that we use personal information collected through our online registration process (as described above).
Other Sources. We may also collect your contact information if you voluntarily provide it at one of our exhibitions, for instance by providing your business card or other contact information. In addition, if you make inquiries through the contact methods in the “Contact Us” or similar sections of our website, these inquiries are forwarded to the relevant show staff or department, and are used to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of correspondence.
Information Collected From Third Parties. The Tomorrow Project may also collect information from third parties, such as mailing list vendors or public professional, business and trade directories. We take steps to ensure that personal information collected in this manner is collected with the consent of the individual, if required by applicable privacy laws. Information collected in this manner is personal information such as your name, company name, title or position, business contact information, industry, function and purchasing level, which we use to solicit interest in becoming a Sponsor, to provide information about upcoming conferences that may be of interest to potential trade and business attendees, and to promote sponsorships, exhibits and/or attendance at any one of our events.
Surveys and other research. Survey information we may collect includes biographical and demographic information such as age or income and information about our customers’ or prospects’ interests. We use this information to understand our customers and their interests in general. This information is used on a non-identifiable basis.
Business Identification. Visitors to trade and industry shows may be required to provide business identification, such as a personalized business card or proof of your employment with a specific organization. This information, for instance requested on visitor registration forms, is used to verify that you are attending in a business capacity and to understand your purchasing role.
Additional Business Attendee Information. We may request that attendees of our shows provide additional information such as industry sector, purchasing role within your organization, job function, as well as additional information about the business that you represent. This information is used to better understand your role within your organization and your organization’s business.
The Tomorrow Project may also generally use the personal information of the Sponsors, exhibitors, attendees of our shows for the following general purposes:
Non-Identifying Information. In general, you can visit our website and view the content while remaining anonymous by not providing any personal information. The Tomorrow Project collects non-identifiable information that becomes available to us as a result of your visit to our website. This information includes, for example, your IP address (a number automatically assigned your computer when you visit the website, and which is logged by our servers), your Internet Service Provider (ISP), your Web browser, the type of operating system, the domain name of the website which linked you to our site, and the pages you visited while you were using the website. We may use this non-identifying information as a diagnostic and administrative tool for identifying system problems and administering the website.

The Tomorrow Project recognizes the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. Our website is not intended for children under the age of 13. The Tomorrow Project does not target our website or its services to children under 13. The Tomorrow Project does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
